2. Train the GPT bot for your specific target audience

The configuration of the GPT bot is what makes it a specialist in a specific task, and lead generation follows suit:

When you create your GPT you will start feeding it information about what its purpose is, what will be the tasks, etc. In this case, you will instruct it that:

  • It will be writing emails for lead generation
  • It will follow the ‘hook-story-offer’ narrative 
  • Name of your company and what you do
  • What is your targeted audience
  • The tone and length of the email
  • Any specific links you want to add to your email

In the beginning, you will come across errors constantly creeping through the text that GPT writes. When you do establish them, you can go back and update them. 

You also have the option for your GPT to learn from your encounters. This means it will evolve when you use it more, learning from past mistakes, so you don’t have to go back constantly and update it.

4. Train based on data that you have of your past prospects/leads 

When you’ve done a couple of emails using this method, you’ll have some you like better than others. Or maybe you have your previous work that you have written by hand. You have the option to upload your files to your GPT and have it pull information from those files.

5. Finetune the output through interactions with the GPT bot

A lot of times the first answer you get from your GPT won’t be the last one. You will have to manually change some words or sentence structures you don’t like, or even write additional prompts to get a better answer:

6. Rinse and Repeat

Once you repeat this process a few times you will get a hang of it. The emphasis here is on the constant repeating and mastering this technique. Every case is individual, but it follows the same principle. In no time you will be generating more leads than you could have imagined!

When you generate an email that sounds good to you, upload it back to your GPT so it can learn from it, and generate more emails following that example.
