1. How to Block a website on Google Chrome
One of the easiest ways to block a website on google chrome is by using the extension Block Site.
Step 1: Download Block Site Extension from Chrome Web Store
Go to Google Chrome Store and find Block Site. Or just type it in google straight away.
Simply click on ‘Add to Chrome’. Then approve by clicking ‘Add Extension.’
Step 2: Pin Extension to Chrome Top Bar
Pin the Extension so you have at your disposal when you find a site you want to block on Google Chrome.
Now you can surf the internet and search for those websites you want to block!
Step 3: Hit ‘Block This Site’ to block the desired site
Once you’ve run into a site you want to block, just click the ‘Block the Site’ to disable it from appearing.
2. How to Block a Website on Safari

Here’s the process:
- Click Apple Icon on the menu bar.
- Choose System Preferences
- Click on Screen Time
- Click on Content & Privacy option where you will be able to edit privacy settings
- Turn on the Privacy Restrictions
- Choose Customize to type in the site Domain Address which you wish to block
- Under Restricted section at the bottom, hit the + to add the site you want to block
- Type the URL and press OK.
